Apologies if this is slightly off topic but I thought I would note the death of Sir Hugh Beach as he was the senior (after the Grand Master) GBE.  The new senior GBE is Sir Christopher Leaver, former Lord Mayor of London

There is an aristocratic connection however as his son John Roberts Beach m 1981 Louise Charlotte b 1956 dau of David Henry Fitzroy Somerset (1930-2014) scion of the Barons RAGLAN (and the Dukes of SOMERSET) being descended from the 3rd son of the 3rd Baron.  They have a son and a dau.
