_.Colonel Sir John Gilmnour, 4th Baronet (Bt, of Lundin & Montrave, cr UK, 1897), died 10 February, 2013. He was 68. Sir John, a deputy lieutenant for Fife, was Colonel in the army, served with the Fife & Forfar Yeomary/Scottish Horse, and was MFH. His home was at at Wester Balcormo, Fife. He was born 15 July, 1944, son of Sir John Edward Gilmour, 3rd Baronet (1912-2007), by his wife the former Ursula Mabyn Wills, and succeeded to the baronetcy on his father's death, 1 June, 2007. He married in 1967, Valerie Jardine Russell, daughter of George Walker Russell, by whom he had issue, 2 sons and 2 daughters. The baronetcy is now inherited by his elder son, (John) Nicholas Gilmour, who was born in 1970.
