From the Telegraph of 30 Dec 2023: SANDBERG Lady Carmel Mary Rosaleen (née Donnelly) passed away peacefully on 4th December 2023 with her daughters at her side. The wife of Lord Michael Graham Ruddock Sandberg (deceased) and mother of Michael, Paul, Marion and Deirdre, grandmother of James, Katy, Mark, Robbie, Max and Matilda, and great grandmother of Rose. She was a devoted mother and wife, and will be sorely missed by the whole family. She will be remembered by her many friends as a vibrant, witty and unconventional woman with a gift for entertaining and making her guests feel welcomed and at home. She was a talented artist, musician and poet, with a deep and abiding love of animals. She was born in Ireland in 1927 and after marrying in 1954 spent the next 32 years in Asia, mainly in Hong Kong where she made many long lasting friendships. After her husband's retirement in 1986, they moved to England where they spent the rest of their years.

She was d of Joseph DONNELLY of Dublin. She m 1954 the LP Baron SANDBERG CBE 1927-2017, and had two sons and two daus as above.
