Pauline Aymee Margaret Adlercron was the youngest of 4 daus of Brig Rodolph Ladeveze Aldercron CMG DSO JP DL (1873-1956) and his American wife Hester Bancroft

Pauline's husband Christopher James Morrell Blackie was the son of Ernest Blackie(1867-1943),Bishop of Grantham and then Grimsby;by his wife Caroline Sophia Campbell Stewart(1875-1965),dau of Rev.James Haldane Stewart,(cadet  gs of Duncan Stewart of Ardsheal,10th Chief of Clan Appin) and Emily Katherine Leveson-Gower,dau. of William Leveson-Gower of Titsey Place, scion of the ducal family of Sutherland, with numerous aristocratic connections

Brig Aldercron has an interesting Wiki entry, although I was originally acquainted with their family name, due to their quartered heraldic achievement in A.C.Fox-Davies' Armorial Families (1929)
