Much loved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Thanksgiving Service to be held on 31st August at 12 noon at St Michael and All Angels Helensburgh, Scotland... A service to be held in Wiltshire at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations to Dementia Scotland welcomed.

He was s of 1^st Baron MILVERTON 1885-1978 and Noelle Benda  CStJ 1905-2010 (listed as Norah Brenda in 1921 census, born 1905 Singapore) d of Charles Basil WHITEHEAD 1873-1947 of Torquay, Devon by his 1911 m reg Q3 Devon to Lilian Mary d of Capt Harry PYM 1835-1912 by his c1867 m to Mary Eleanor Ann PYNE 1832-1924. He m 1957 Mary Dorothy 1931-2020 d of Lesley Aubrey FLY (ironmonger) 1902-83 of Corsham, Wilts by his 19 May 1928 m (St Mary, Finchley) to (Alice) Dorothy 1899-1980 d of William John WHEELER 1876-1930 by his 8 Aug 1898 m (St Mary the Virgin, Plaistow) to Alice GINGELL c1876-, and had two daus (DPB online does not list gt grandchidlren). His brother succeeds him:

With this death there is one heir only to the 3rd Baron, his son, born 1963 above.  The title seems destined for extinction.

Barony of Milverton in the Peerage of the United Kingdom The Lord Chancellor reported that Michael Hugh Richards had established his claim to the Barony of Milverton in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. The Clerk of the Parliaments was accordingly directed to enter Lord Milverton on the register of hereditary peers maintained under Standing Order 9(4).
