From the Times of 9 Nov 2021: ARBUTHNOT OF KITTYBREWSTER Sir William Reierson Bt died on 7th October 2021, aged 71, from advanced Parkinson’s disease. Much loved by wife Louise, children Lucy, Harry and Jack, his mother and all the family. Memorial service, 6pm, 30th November 2021, St Columba’s Church of Scotland, Chelsea...
He was s of Sir John Sinclair Wemyss ARBUTHNOT MBE 1st Bt 1912-92 and Margaret Jean b 1919 (* see note below) d of (Alexander) Gordon DUFF 1884-1978 scion of that Scots gentry family of Hatton and as her 2nd h Janet (Jenny) Macfie BLAIKIE 1879-1972. He m 2010 Louise Alexandra Mary d of (Edward) Bruce BARRY 1928-95 and his former w Bernice Pamela CHEESEMAN 1929-2011, and had twin sons, the elder of whom succeeds him:

The only other heirs to this title are the new Baronet's Uncle the LP Baron ARBUTHNOT OF EDROM PC b 1952 and his only son Hon Alexander Broadbent ARBUTHNOT b 1986, who appears to be unm.
(* Note: the 1st Bt's widow is not listed in DPB online but neither is a death date given on the very well maintained Arbuthnot family website. DPB online also omits a predecessor section for the title and it may be the case that this and thw widow's omission is an oversight.)
The late Sir William was a regular poster to this group and shall be sorely missed.

The late Sir William was a very dedicated genealogist in several online venues; he responded almost immediately- and courteously- when once I contacted him regarding something of a mystery he referenced on his website.
