From the Times of 18 May 2024: MR J. P. G. FLETCHER AND MS K. L. HAIG - The engagement is announced between Jack, son of Charlie Fletcher and Domenica More Gordon of Inveresk, East Lothian, and Kirsty, elder daughter of Alexander and Susan Haig of Balfron, Stirlingshire.

Kirsty Louise b 1993 d of Alexander Veitch HAIG b 1960 (s&ha of Anthony Oliver HAIG b 1932 head of that Scots gentry family of Ramornie, as well gs of Rosamond Mary PONSONBY 1906-85 who was 2xgt gd of 4th Earl of BESSBOROUGH 1781-1847, etc) and Susan Anne Harriet d of Rt Hon Sir (William) Anthony CAMPBELL b 1936 and Gail McKIBBIN.

The marriage of Charles Andrew ("Charlie") FLETCHER (born 1960) and Domenica Helen Jane MORE GORDON (also born 1960) was registered in Dalkeith in 1992 (Ref 762 / 313). Mr Fletcher is a screenwriter and author, and his wife is an artist and textile designer.
 
Domenica More Gordon is the elder daughter of two artists, Harry George MORE GORDON (25 X 1928 - 17 XI 2015), and his wife (married 1957), Marianne Lucia Perronet THOMPSON-McCAUSLAND (born 1932), who is herself the eldest daughter of Lucius Perronet THOMPSON (12 XII 1904 - 16 II 1984) and his wife (married 30 IV 1930), Helen Laura McCAUSLAND (6 IV 1903 - 12 II 2000), of that Irish landed gentry family. Mr Thompson, by Royal Licence on 16 April 1942, assumed the surname of THOMPSON-McCAUSLAND for himself, his wife, and their issue.
 
Domenica More Gordon is a first cousin of the actor and comedian Alexander Henry Fenwick ARMSTRONG (born 2 III 1970), who is the younger son of her maternal aunt, Emma Virginia Perronet THOMPSON-McCAUSLAND (born 1942) and her husband (married 2 V 1964), Dr Henry Angus ARMSTRONG (born 10 VIII 1940).
 
Helen Laura McCausland was the elder daughter of the Rt Hon Maurice Marcus McCAUSLAND, PC (NI) (9 IV 1872 -14 I 1938), Lord Lieutenant of County Londonderry 1926-38, who was himself a grandson maternally of the 15th Baron St John of Bletso.
