From the Telegraph of 10 August 2019: CAMPBELL Robert Adair (Bob), Lt Col (RM Ret’d), died peacefully on 2nd August 2019 aged 91. Much loved husband of Norma, father of Alastair, Ian, John, Melfort, Theresa, Shena and Eila, devoted father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Requiem Mass on Wed 21st August 11.30am at St Mary’s, Blairs, Aberdeen.... Family flowers only, please. Memorial service to be held on Friday 11th October 2019 at 12 noon at Christ the King Catholic Church, Amesbury.

He was s of Lt-Col (Henry) Alastair CAMPBELL OBE (1895-1971) of the Scots gentry family of than name (now ADAMSON) of Strachcaro, and Aileen (1903-69) d of Maj Robert EMMET DSO (1871-1955), scion of the gentry family of that name of Amberley Castle and Louise GARLAND (d 1947). He m 1951 Norma L (b 1932 reg Q2 Kent) d of Maj-Gen Sir Leslie Norman TYLER KBE CB (1904-92) and his 1st w Louie Teresa FRANKLIN (d 1950), and had four sons and three daus as above.
