From the Telegraph of 23 Nov 2020: HOPE-MORLEY - On November 19th 2020, to Hariet (née Martin) and Edward, twin boys, brothers for Fergus.

I take the father to be Hon Edward Hampden HOPE-MORLEY (b 1981) s&ha of 4th Baron HOLLENDEN (b 1946) and his 1st w Beatrice Saulnie d of Baron Pierre D'ANCHALD.

If my supposition is correct the new arrivals are 3rd and 4th in line to the barony after their father and elder brother.

The Telegraph online announcements states the notice was placed by "Ian Hollenden" so this must be Lord Hollenden

Does anyone have any birth information on the oldest son, Fergus?

He is next in line to the barony after his father.

Thanks.

GRO reveals a Fergus Maclean H HOPE-MORLEY (mother's maiden name MARTIN) regd Q1/2018 Islington and then a Fergus Ralph H HOPE-MORLEY (mother's maiden name MARTIN) regd Q1/2018 Islington - same reference for both entries so I assume this is a re-registration where the parents have changed their mind about the baby's name - if that is possible

as I didn't know this... (from Croydon Borough Council website)

Changing your baby's first name

If you registered your child's birth but want to change the first name, you can do so within a year of the registration. This change can only be made once.

After year, it can only be done by deed poll.
