James Alexander HALDANE of Gleneagles Yr (b 1975), s of (James) Martin HALDANE 26th Chief of Gleneagles (b 1941), scion of the Scots gentry family CHINNERY-HALDANE, and Petronella Victoria (b 1944 reg Q4 Gloucestershire) d of Sir Peter William Shelley Yorke SCARLETT KCMG KCVO (1905-87), scion of the VALENTIA viscounts, and Elisabeth Dearman (1905-92) d of Maj Sir John Dearman BIRCHALL TD MP (1875-1941) and Adela Emily WYKEHAM (1878-1965), scion of the gentry family of that name formerly of Tythrop.
