This is a good place to note a discrepancy in the Burke's genealogies of this family.
According to a recently available online version, and also the printed 106th Edition, (1999), the 3rd Baronet descended from an uncle of the grantee, and only when his issue became extinct did it fall onto the 8th Bt., descended from a brother of the grantee; obviously the issue of a brother of the grantee should come before the issue of an uncle of the grantee, so the genealogy shown in earlier editions, including the 1959 edition is more likely correct, and is also what is reflected in The Complete Baronetage.
Does anyone have any input or comments about this?
