Princess Felicitas of Prussia (1934-2009)

The great-granddaughter of the last German Emperor, who was a grandson
of Queen Victoria, died on 1st of August 2009 at the age of 75 near
Hamburg.

Felicitas of Prussia had been the eldest granddaughter of crown prince
Wilhelm and his wife Cecilie. She was born 7th of june 1934 in Bonn as
the oldest daughter of Prince Wilhelm (1906-1940) and his wife Dorthea
von Salviati (1907-1972). Felicitas of Prussia had been married two
times and had 5 children.

She will be burried in Aumühle near Hamburg.

She married, firstly, Dinnies Karl Friedrich von der Osten, son of
Karl August von der Osten and Wilhelmine Gottliebe Jenny von Boddion,
on 12 September 1958 at Bonn, Nordrhein-Westfahlen, Germany. She and
Dinnies Karl Friedrich von der Osten were divorced in 1972. She
married, secondly, Jorg Hartwig von Nostitz-Wallwitz, son of General
Gustav Adolf von Nostitz-Wallwitz and Renata Rachals, on 27 October
1972 at Aümuhle, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.

Am I right in stating that if the order of succession to the throne in
the UK
had been "gender blind" in Queen Victoria's reign then Princess
Felicitas
would have been Queen of the United Kingdom ?

Only if the gender blindness started during Queen Victoria's reign. Had it started before that Victoria's father had older sisters, as did her grandfather. It just depends on the start date of the gender blindness. If it started before Victoria's reign then she wouldn't have been Queen to begin with.
