From the Telegraph of 9 Sept 2022: COOTE Christopher Chenevix died peacefully after a long illness on 15th August 2022 aged 76. Loving and much loved husband, father and grandfather. Royal Navy Officer, engineer, talented craftsman and enthusiastic sportsman. His wit and kindness are already missed. Private family funeral.
He was s of Cdr Dermot Chenevix COOTE RN 1915-2005 (gs of Sir Algernon Charles Plumptre COOTE 12th Bt 1847-1920) and Dorothy OLIVER d 1999. He m 1971 Cheryl d of William BRIDGE and had two sons.
