From the Times of 12 Jan 2021: CHISHOLM-BATTEN Dr Walter Rodolphe, died peacefully on 17th December 2020, aged 97. Much-loved doctor, father, grandfather and greatgrandfather. A memorial service will be held in 2021.
He was s of Edmund Rodolphe CHISHOLM-BATTEN (1887-1982) scion of the Scots gentry family CHISHOLM OF CHISHOLM, and Winfired Mary CAIN (1893-1943). He m 1st 1946 (div 1968) Jean Elizabeth (1927-1989) d of Capt George Henry TABERMAN (1896-1966) by his 1924 m (reg Q2 London) to Gladys Beatrice TOOKE (1903-95), and had two sons and two daus. He m 2nd 1968 Shirley Elizabeth Innes d of Norman Dyson Innes RYCROFT, and had a further son and a further dau.
