I am not aware if anyone noticed this, but there is a new book by Burke's Peerage.

Burke's Royal Families of the Middle East by William Bortrick (Dec 2024).

"Burke’s Royal Families of the Middle East is the definitive new genealogy of the current reigning monarchies in the Middle East. The volume features distinctive entries for the Royal Families of Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which includes Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. The Royal Houses of Khalifa, Hashim, Sabah, Busaid, Thani, Saud, Nahyan, Maktoum, Qasimi, Nuaimi, Mualla and Sharqi are included. The volume also features specially commissioned articles written by The Lord Chartres, The Lord Roberts of Belgravia, Lt Gen Sir John Lorimer, Miriam Escofet, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Levison Wood, Will Williams, Dr Shahina A. Ghazanfar and Sue Wickison, and Hugo Vickers."

It is available on the Burke's Peerage website.

This was published before as Burke's Royal Families of the World Volume 2 in 1980 and included Africa. They never got around to a Volume 3 dealing with India and East Asia.
I have sent them an email enquiring as to whether they are planning new editions of Royal Families of the World Volume 1(1977) and Guide to the Royal Family(1973)

Well that was quick.I have received a reply as follows:

"Burke's Royal Families of Europe is in production now.

We may consider a new edition of Burke's Guide to the Royal Family in the future."
