From the Telegraph of 14 Oct 2024: BROOKE Charles "Charlie" Weston Brooke of Midfearn passed away suddenly but peacefully after a short illness, on Sunday 6th October 2024, surrounded by his loving family, Tanya, Nicola, Emily and Jock. Private family funeral followed by a Service of Thanksgiving in Dornoch Cathedral on Thursday 24th October at 2.30 p.m. Family flowers only, please.

He was s of Maj Sir John Weston BROOKE 3^rd Bt and Rosemary NEVILL 1912-79 d of Percy Llewelyn NEVILL 1877-1927 (gs of 4^th Earl of ABERGAVENNY 1792-1868) and his w & 1^st cousin once removed Marjorie NEVILL 1886-1945 (gd of 1^st Marquess of ABERGAVENNY 1826-1915). He m 1984 Tanya Elizabeth d of Antony Thelwell MAURICE of Lloran, Robertson, NSW, Australia, and had a son and two daus as above.

He was heir presumptive to his brother the 4^th Bt. That place is now taken by his son JOHN WESTON b 23 Feb 1992, who is married with a dau: https://groups.google.com/g/peerage-news/c/msHj85C168c/m/3NeIdFYbCAAJ

There are no other heirs to the title.eHe

As Richard's post said, JOHN WESTON BROOKE (B. 1992), is now hp to his uncle's baronetcy and is the only one in remainder to the title.
