From the Telegraph of 14 June 2024: BULLOCK-WEBSTER Lt Col Robin James Stirling OBE died peacefully at home in Devon. Devoted husband to Maria and loving father to [step-f] Alexia, Katie, [step-f] Caroline, Lucy and James and to his ten grandchildren. A family funeral will be followed by a memorial service in London at a later date.

He was the only s of Capt Sandro Ansell George Stuart BULLOCK-WEBSTER RM 1919-2007 (who he succ. as) head of that gentry family of Higher Hisley and Joan Stirling 1921-2012 d of Maj Lewis Dowrish JOLL MC 1893-1940 of Sowton, Devon by his 1920 m reg Q2 Pembroke to as her 1^st h Cynthia Stirling 1898-1991 d of Col Edward James BUCKLEY 1866- (s of Anne Henrietta STIRLING 1828-87 who was gd of Sir John STIRLING 5^th Bt 1751-1818) by his 29 Oct 1890 m (St Luke’s Chelsea) to Ethel Agnes COAKS c1868-. He m 1^st 1971 Susan Nicola 1948-79 d of Peter James DARBY 1917-2008 by his 1941 m reg Q2 Pembroke to Pamela Joan Poyer 1919-2010 d of Sir Wilfrid Hubert Poyer LEWIS OBE 1881-1950 sometime head of that Welsh gentry family of Henllan, and had two daus as above. He m 2^nd 1988 Maria Della d of Enrique BUENANO (widow of the 6^th Earl COWLEY 1946-75 by whom she had two daus Alexia and Caroline, above) and had a son who succeeds him:
