From the Telegraph of 6 Dec 2021: JOHNSTONE Sara, wife of Sir Raymond Johnstone CBE, died peacefully on Tuesday 30th November in Edinburgh. Mother of Jonathan, Adrian, Marcus, David and Ben. Step-mother of Louise and Booney. A private committal will take place and a concert in memory of Sara will be held in the Spring. Details to be published in due course.

She was d of Christopher Gerald GORE 1903-54 scion of the TEMPLE OF STOWE earls (and gs of 1st Earl SONDES 1824-94 etc) and Lady Babara Susan MONTGOMERIE 1909-92 d of 16th Earl of EGLINTON & 4th Earl of WINTON 1880-1945 and Lady Beatrice Susan DALRYMPLE 1881-1962 d of 11th Earl of STAIR 1848-1914. She m 1st 1956 (div 1962) as his 1st of three wives Basil Reginald Vincent Ziani 1930-88 s of Lt-Col Sir Vincent Ziani DE FERRANTI MC 1893-1980 and Dorothy Hettie Campbell WILSON 1895-1993 and had three sons. She m 2nd 1963 Peter Quixano 1922-74 s of George Lionel Quixano HENRIQUES 1894-1961 of Park Hall, Buxton, Derbys by his 1918 m reg Lancs to Phyllis Marguerite WILD 1894-1954, and had two sons. She m 3rd 1979 Sir (John) Raymond CBE b 1929 s of Capt Henry James JOHNSTONE RN 1895-1947 (3xgt gs of Sir James JOHNSTONE OF WESTERHILL 3rd Bt 1697-1772) and Margaret Alison MCINTYRE 1900-84.

It's worth noting that she was a "scion" of the Earls Temple of Stowe only because Burke's Peerage has decided to include her family in that article. They could just as easily put them into the Arran article or any other Gore article.

A great-nephew of her great-great-grandfather married Lady Anna Eliza Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville,thereby bringing the Earldom of Temple of Stowe into the Gore family, and for that reason this Gore family is included in the Temple of Stowe articles in Burke's Peerage. However, Lady Johnstone was in no way descended from, or even closely related to, the Earls Temple of Stowe.
