From the Telegraph of 23 Aug 2025: LAKIN Mark Philip died peacefully in hospital on 18th August 2025, aged 84. Beloved husband of Christina, much loved father to Patrick (dec'd), Henry and Molly, and dear brother to Robin (dec'd), Amanda, Julian (dec'd), Serena and Caroline. Private funeral with a memorial to be held later this year. Donations in lieu of flowers to Anthony Nolan.

He was s of Lt-Cdr Richard Barklie LAKIN 1914-2011 (gs of Sir Michael Henry LAKIN 1^st Bt 1846-1931) and . He m 1988 Christina Lisa Josephine b Sep 1950 d of Patrick DOLAN of Much Hadham, Herts and _ SALEN, and had two sons and a dau as above, all unm in DPB print & online.
