From the Telegraph of 1 June 2017: VIGORS  Patrick Mervyn Doyne peacefully at the Yair, Galashiels on 26th May 2017, of pancreatic cancer, aged 69. Adored husband of Didi, son of Desmond, brother of Sarah. Father of Nicholas & Edward. Funeral at Borders Crematorium, Tuesday 6th June, 12 noon. Memorial service in London at Charterhouse, 11th September, 11.30am. Donations to charities in memory of Patrick via Thomas Brown & Sons, Melrose.

He was s of Lt-Col Desmond Doyne VIGORS (b 1921), scion of the Irish gentry family of that name, and Agnes Helen Stuart (1919-92) d of Maj George HENDERSON. He m 1976 (reg Q4 Surrey) Dinah (Didi) F BURROWS and had two sons as above: Nicholas Desmond Doyne (b 1983 reg Q4 London) and Edward Michael Doyne (b 1986 reg Q4 London).

 I think Didi is former Mrs Didi E. Thyne (née Spencer Smith).
