From the Telegraph of 4 April 2026: SESSIONS HODGE Martin aged 84 died peacefully whilst listening to his favourite jazz surrounded by family on 21st March 2026 in Treliske Hospital, Truro. Private cremation. No flowers. Donations in memory, if desired, for Royal Cornwall Hospital via the Memory Giving website.

He was s of [William E HODGE by his 1939 m reg Q4 Middx to Barbara M GRIFFIN]. He m 1972 Lorraine b 1950 d of Sir William Napier Maurice MILES 6 Bt 1913-2010 and Pamela Moira Shirley 1919-2002 d of Capt Francis Michael DILLON RN 1876-1925 by his 1916 m to Ida Shirley MAY 1889-1970, and had two sons and a dau.

Martin Hugh SESSIONS HODGE was born Chard RD September 1941 (month of birth from Companies Register), son of Dr Ralph SESSIONS HODGE 1904-1959 of Crewkerne, Somerset (son of Dr Albert HODGE 1871-1927 of Farnworth, Lancs, and Hilda Mary SESSIONS 1878-1956) who m. St Mewan, Cornwall, 6 aug 1930 Margaret GRIFFIN 1904-1957 (daughter of W H GRIFFIN - she was probably the Margaret GRIFFIN b St Austell RD 2q 1904, dau of William Henry GRIFFIN and Frances Emma BRACHER who married Shaftesbury RD 3q 1902).
