He was s of Maj Kenneth Gordon Woodbine SHENNAN MBE 1893-1971 (gs of Francis PARISH 1824-1906 sometime head of that gentry family f/o Bawburgh Old Hall) and Lilah Maude 1906-88 d of Maj Denis St George DALY 1862-1942 sometime head of that Irish gentry family co Galway (and illegt s of 2^nd Baron DUNSANDLE & CLANCONAL 1810-93) and Rose Zara Maria 1872-1949 d of Albert BRASSEY 1844-1918 (s of Thomas BRASSEY 1805-70 who was f of 1^st Earl BRASSEY 1836-1918) and Hon Matilda Maria Helena BINGHAM 1850-1943 d of 4^th Baron CLANMORRIS 1826-76 and Sarah Selina PERSSE 1826-1907 scion of that Irish gentry family.. He m 1964 Rosanna Mary b 1937 d of Rear Adm John Hervey Forbes CROMBIE 1900-72 and Rosamond Marguerite 1912-2009 d of Lt-Col Rodney Charles STYLE 1863-1957 (s of Sir William Henry Marsham STYLE 9^th Bt 1826-1904 and gs of 1^st Baron TREDEGAR 1792-1875 who was f of 1^st & only Viscount TREDEGAR 1831-1913) and Helène Pauline KLEINWORT 1884-1975 (gd of Alexander Frederick Henry KLEINWORT 1815-86 who was f of Sir Alexander Drake KLEINWORT 1^st Bt 1858-1935), and had a son and a dau as above.
