The engagement is announced between Sam, younger son of Mr and Mrs Jonathan Seccombe, of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, and Johanna, daughter of Mr and Mrs Malcolm Williams, of Broughty Ferry, Dundee.

It has Jonathan L Seccombe living with Petronella J Seccombe, Thomas L Seccombe,  and Sam O Seccombe in Woodstock, Oxfordshire (per the electoral register, 2005-2006). Jonathan L Seccombe married Petronella J Seaward in 1982 (registered Q2 - Tunbridge Wells),  and on the basis of the available evidence Netty appears to have correctly identified the parents in this instance.
