In the last month I have discovered that my biological father is not Gavin Welby, but, in fact, the late Sir Anthony Montague Browne.

His father is Sir Anthony Arthur Duncan MONTAGUE BROWNE KCMG CBE DFC (1923-2013), s of Lt-Col Andrew Duncan MONTAGUE BROWNE (1878-1969) and Violet Evelyn DOWNES (1883-1969).
