From the Times of 4 August 2018: WISEMAN-CLARKE On 24th July 2018 to Clare and Jamie, a daughter, Charlotte Elizabeth, sister to Ellie, William and Alex.

The father of the newborn is presumably a member of the WISEMAN-CLARKE gentry father but, my PC's about to die on me for lack of battery power, so I'm posting what I have in the hopes that others can work on it. Could Jamie be the son of the present head of the family:

Charles William (b 1946) s of Gp Capt Freke William WISEMAN-CLARKE CBE (1900-77), sometime head of the gentry family of that name (formerly Prothero) formerly of Abbey Dore Court and Malpas Court, and Cynthia Mary (1909-94) d of Maj Charles Edward PEMBERTON (c1870-1956) by his 1902 m (reg London) to Edith Belford Travers CUMMINS (1873-1960). He m 1972 (reg Q3 Hampshire) Diana E N (b 1948 reg co Durham) d of N G F NASH of Northwood, Middlesex and _ THORSSON.

You're right, Richard- the only Jamie Wiseman-Clarke I could find online is a partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, b. 1976 according to company records; I found a 1976 birth record for a Jamie Neville Wiseman-Clarke, mother Nash. He has an elder brother, Thomas Charles, born 1974.

'N. G. F. Nash' would appear to be Neville Gresham Fountain Nash (1911-1982), m. 1947, Thora Marguerite E. Thorsson, which would corroborate the above as providing Jamie's middle name. A 1965 list of members of the Institution of Civil Engineers lists him as of Kenbane Cottage, Ducks Hill Road, Northwood. He was son of Maj. Fountain Okey Colborne Nash (1878-1915), of the 5th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers, employee of the Hertford and Rochdale engineering departments, surveyor and water engineer of Cockermouth, assistant to the city engineer of Newcastle-upon-Tyne,and chief planning assistant to the City Engineer of Birmingham. He married Ella Heap Handley in 1905. and was killed near Ypres.
