From the Telegraph of 30 November 2019: CECIL Lady Annette (née Barclay) died peacefully on November 24th aged 85. Much loved wife of the late Os, mother of Rob, grandmother of Ava and sister of Isabel. Funeral private. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Holy Trinity Wonston, near Winchester SO21 3LS on Friday December 13th at 11 a.m. No flowers please, but donations, if desired, to The Brooke Hospital for Animals...
She was d of Maj Robert Edward BARCLAY TD (1906-59), scion of the Scots gentry family of Mathers & Urie, and Nesta Anne BURY-BARRY (1909-2004) scion of the Irish gentry family of that name. She m 1961 Rear-Adm Sir Os(wald) Nigel Amherst CECIL KBE CB (1925-2017) s of Hon Henry Mitford Amherst CECIL OBE RN (1893-1962) s Col Lord William CECIL (1854-1943, s of 3rd Marquess of EXETER by his w a scion of the LONGFORD earls) and his 1st w Baroness AMHERST OF HACKNEY in her own right (1857-1919)), and Hon Yvonne CORNWALLIS (1896-1983) d of 1st Baron CORNWALLIS, and had a son as above.
