The 13th Viscount, succeeding his father, is John Philip.

He  has only one son, Geoffrey (b. 1996), who was born before his parents married.

Wikipedia lists Geoffrey has the ha, but since he was born prior to his parents' marriage, how could this be?  Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought this only happened  with  certain Scottish peerages.  The Galway viscountcy is an Irish peerage.

If he is not the ha, next in line would be a kinsman, Alan Stobart Monckton (b. 1934).

Please help.

Thanks.

Wikipedia tends towards inaccuracies when it comes to certain peerage matters,  as has often been pointed out in this group over the years.  Those of us who have been perusing the pages of Debrett's for a number of years, are well aware that the new viscount's son is not the heir to his father's peerage.

Thanks, marquess.

I thought that as well but just wanted it confirmed.

So is kinsman Alan the new hp?

Yes is the answer to your question, providing the individual in question is still alive.
