From the Telegraph of 30 April 2024: TREFGARNE Rosalie, Lady Trefgarne, passed away peacefully at home on 20th April, surrounded by her family. Beloved and devoted wife to David; mother to George, Justin and Rebecca; grandmother to Louis, Freddy, Cluny, Alice, William, Toby and Rose; a friend to many. Private cremation on Monday 13th May. A Celebration of her life and Burial to be held at 11.30 a.m. on Friday 17th May, St Saviour, Valley End, Chobham, Surrey... Reception afterwards at Pembroke House. She was d of the LP Baron LANE OF HORSELL 1925-2009 and Doris Florence 1920-69 d of Robert Simpson BOTSFORD 1880-1954 by his 6 Feb 1912 m (St Matthew, Bayswater) to Marjorie Antoinette Charlotte 1886-1976 d of Capt Herbert WHARTON RN. She m 1968 2nd Baron TREFGARNE b 1941 s of 1st Baron TREFGARNE 1894-1960 and (as her 1st of three h) Elizabeth 1919-2007 d of Charles Edward CHURCHILL 1871-1954 (solicitor) of Ashton Keynes, Wilts by his 1904 m reg Q4 Montomeryshire to Mary Harriet George 1877-1965, and had two sons and a dau as above. More work needed to find gc Cluny, Toby and Rose.
