Grace Alma Stewart

Grace Stewart died peacefully on November 7, 2015 in Eugene, Oregon of systolic heart failure.

Grace was born August 12, 1920 in Forestville, Connecticut to Paul Maxwell and Emily J. Edman. Paul served in France in WWI. He had a large home and gas station on the Old Boston Post Road where Grace grew up [….]

In 1963 Grace divorced Ned Cunningham and married David Stewart, a consummate English gentleman, working as an engineer at Boeing, and moved to Bellevue, Washington. David had been widowed in late 1961 leaving him with three sons, Gordon, Jeffray and Jim, whom Grace helped raise [….]

Grace was pre-deceased by David, who died at age 90, in 2002, and son Jeffray, who died suddenly in 1993 [….] From her second marriage she left son Gordon and his wife Cora of Sebastopol, CA; the children of deceased son Jeffray and his deceased wife Carolyn Sroufe Stewart, Rachel Mark, her husband Jason, and Patrick Stewart and his wife Lindsey. Rachel and Jason's children are Eden, Cora and Simon. Son Jim and his wife Vickie live in Seattle. Jim's children are Michael and his wife Beckah of Seattle, WA and their daughter Brooke, and Blake Stewart and Lilly and Calvin Davie [….]
