From the Times of 22 May 2025: SLADEN SLADEN Simon Hogarth died peacefully on 6th May 2025 aged 81. He will be greatly missed by his daughters and grandchildren but reunited with his beloved wife Pilly.
He was s of Edward Carew SLADEN 1914-44 (s of Mabel Ursula 1887-1963 (Mrs Ferdinand Sladen) d of Sir Archibald Ernest ORR EWING 3rd Bt 1853-1919 of Ballikinrain and Hon Mabel ADDINGTON d 1932 d of 3rd Viscount SIDMOUTH 1824-1913 and his w & 1st cousin Georgina Susan 1822-96 d of Very Rev Hon George PELLEW 1793-1866 (f of 6th Viscount EXMOUTH 1828-1923) and Hon Frances ADDINGTON 1793-1870 d of 1st Viscount SIDMOUTH 1757-1844, and as her 1st of 3 h Susan Margaret MILVAIN 1918-2005 (Mrs John Findlay). He m 19_ Jill Christina (Pilly) DELANEY b Jan 1942, and had issue
