Sir Charles Denny and Mrs C. Hilton
The marriage took place on Saturday, July 23, at the Egypt Mill Hotel,
Nailsworth, Glos, between Sir Charles Denny, Bt, eldest son of the
late Sir Alistair Denny and of Lady Denny, of Twyford, Berks, and Mrs
Carolyn Hilton, daughter of the late Mr Derek Davis and of Mrs
Kathleen Redpath, of Wimborne, Dorset.

Sir Charles Alistair Maurice 4th Bt (b 1950) son of Sir Alistair
Maurice Archibald DENNY 3rd Bt (1922-95) and Elizabeth Hunt (b March
1924 (reg Q1 Bolton, Lancs) [note Burke's says 1925], dau of Maj Sir
Ernest Guy Richard LLOYD 1st Bt DSO (1890-1987) and Helen Kynaston (d
1984) dau of Lt-Col Ernest William GREG CB VD JP (1862-1934) of that
gentry family formerly of Norcliffe Hall and Marian (c1863-1931, dau
of John Kynaston CROSS MP (1832-1911) of that gentry family formerly
of Wyke Hall)). He m 1981 (div 2002) Belinda Mary, dau of James
Patrick McDONALD of Dublin (by whom he had a son and a dau).

Sir Charles has an only son and heir from his first marriage (Patrick
Charles Alistair b 1985 & unm), as well as a dau. Others in line to
the title are his brother (b 1955) and his borther's two sons, aged 25
& 20 and currently unm.
