From the Telegraph of 11 July 2026: SEWELL Sheila Mary (née Collett) died peacefully on 7th July aged 94. Much loved sister, wife to Donald, mother of four, granny to nine and matriarch to many. Private family cremation followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St Edmund's Church, Southwold on Friday 31st July at 12.30 p.m.

She was d of John Collinson COLLETT 1903-56 (yrs of Sir Charles Henry COLLETT 1 Bt 1864-1938) and Ethel Ruth 1904-85 d of Benjamin Andrew GLANVILL 1871-1950 by his 1894 m reg Q3 London to Ethel SHOVE 1871-1960. She m 1955 John Donald 1928-2011 s of Thomas Jackson Elliot SEWELL 1888-1972 (schoolmaster) of Old Buckenham Hall, Norfolk by his 18 Aug 1923 m (Holy Trinity, South Crosland, York) to Elisabeth Georgina 1892-1945 d of Rev William Le Neve BOWER 1851-1935 and Georgina Isabella RHODES 1848-1924, and had three sons and a dau.
