He was s of Maj Matthew Anthony Leonard CRIPPS 1913-97 (gs of 1st Baron PARMOOR 1852-1941) and Dorothea Margaret 1918-92 d of George Johnson SCOTT c1886- and Annie Jane 1887-1960 d of John Henry ADAMS c1855- by his 19 Nov 1877 m (St John, Liverpool) to Margaret Elizabeth ROBERTS c1858-. He m 1971 Elizabeth Anne d of Maj William MILLWARD-SHENNAN of Moorside, Caldy-in-Wirral and had a daughter and two sons (incl Alexander Matthew Seddon d 1973), the yr surviving son succeeds him.
HENRY WILLIAM ANTHONY Cripps 6th Baron PARMOOR has yet to establish his claim, b 2 Sep 1976: m 2003 Katherine Helen b 1972 reg Q3 Windsor, only d of (the well-known DJ and TV presenter) Sir Michael Terence (Terry) WOGAN KBE 1938-2016 and Helen T JOYCE 1936-2024, and had a son and a dau.
