Miss Skye Joanna Wellesley, born 13th December 2006 and was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder when she was one. She passed away on the 12th December 2021, one day before her 15th Birthday. Her older half-sister Eleanor Wellesley announced the sad news on Instagram.
Skye was the daughter of Lord James Christopher Douglas Wellesley (b.16 Dec 1964) and Lady James Wellesley (Emma) (nee Nethercott) & Granddaughter of Arthur Valerian Wellesley, 8th Duke of Wellington (1915–2014) and his wife Diana Ruth (nee McConnel) (1922–2010)
