Orleáns-Borbón /van Exter engagement

The engagement was announced 25 Feb 2008, between Don Andrés de
Orleáns-Borbón (b 7 July 1976), son of Don Alvaro de Orleáns-Borbón (b
1 Mar 1947) and Doña Giovanna de Orleáns- Borbón b 10 Apr 1945 (nee
Giovanna San Martino d'Aglie, dei Marchesi di San Germano), & Anne-
Laure van Exter, daughter of the late Dr Robert van Exter and of
Baronin Marie-Rose von Oppenheim and stepdaughter of Baron Friedrich
Carl von Oppenheim. Don Andrés is a grandson of Don Alvaro Antonio
Fernando Carlos Felipe de Orléans-Borbón y Sajonia-Coburgo-Gotha, 6th
Duc de Galliera (1919-97), by his wife Carla Carla Parodi Delfino
(1909-2000), and is a great-grandson of HRH Princess Beatrice
Leopoldine Victoria of Edinburgh (1884-1966), and her husband Alfonso
Maria Francisco Diego de Orléans y de Borbón, 5th Duc de Galleria
(1886-c1975). Don Andrés is a great-great-grandson of HRH The Prince
Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh (1844-1900), second son of HM Queen
Victoria.

Don Alvaro Antonio Fernando Carlos Felipe de Orléans-Borbón y Sajonia-Coburgo-Gotha, 6th Duc de Galliera was born 1910 rather than 1919.
