Bridget Wentworth-Stanley died on 7 March, aged 98, wife of the late David and mother of Michael, Nick, Christopher and Adrian. Service of Thanksgiving on 15 April at 12 noon at St Mary's, Standon.

The second daughter of Jane and David WENTWORTH-STANLEY, Emma Jane WENTWORTH-STANLEY b 1981, m Rory Andrew b 1980, s of Sqn Ldr Andrew RENSHAW b 1947, s of Sir Charles RENSHAW 3rd Bt 1912-2002 (s of Sir Charles RENSHAW 2nd Bt 1883-1976 by his 1911 m (diss 1939) to Edith Mary 1891-1976, dau of Rear-Adm Sir Edward CHICHESTER 9th Bt 1849-1906, etc) by his 1977 m to his second cousin Cherry Rose b 1952, dau of Cdr John RUSSELL DSC by his wife Mary b 1917, dau of Sir Edward CHICHESTER 10th Bt 1883-1940, s of Rear-Adm Sir Edward CHICHESTER 9th Bt 1849-1906, etc.

Bridget WENTWORTH-STANLEY's second son, Nicholas Philip WENTWORTH-STANLEY b 1954, is the father (by his 1st w Clare Husted Steel) of Harry David WENTWORTH-STANLEY b 1989. Harry WENTWORTH-STANLEY m 2020 Cressida b 1989, dau of Jeffrey BONAS b 1944 by his 2nd w (her 3rd h) Lady Mary-Gaye Georgiana Lorna CURZON b 1947, dau of 6th EARL HOWE 1908-84, etc.

Through her sister, Alison Beatrix PEASE 1928-2017, who m 1954 Christopher Nicholas WEATHERBY 1920-2004, Bridget WENTWORTH-STANLEY was also an aunt of Clare Alison WEATHERBY (The BARONESS DARESBURY) b 1957, who m 1982 Hon Peter Gilbert GREENALL b 1953, who succeeded his father in 1996 as 4th BARON DARESBURY.
