July, 2005.

Stephen Geddes is a son of the Hon. Alexander Campbell Geddes, OBE,
MC,
TD [1910-72], by his second wife, HSH Altgräfin Marie-Anne Helena
Emanuela, daughter of HSH the 6th Prince [Franz Josph] zu
Salm-Reifferscheidt, Krautheim und Dyck.

There are conflicting sources for year of death for Alexander Campbell
Geddes some show 1971 others show 1972.

Would you know if this is the correct date or whether it is 22.9.1972?

The Times death notices of 25 September 1972 list the date of death as
22 September 1972, so I think that clinches it. A typo in Adels.
