The engagement was announced 15 Aug 2009, between Capt Harry James
Abdy Collins, MBE (b 1980), son of Mr (Brian) James Douglas Abdy
Collins (b 1952), by his former wife, the former Philippa Martha
Gausel Whitehead (now the Hon Mrs Frederick Hamilton, of Montacute,
Somerset), dau of Sir Rowland John Rathbone Whitehead, 5th Baronet, &
Sophie C. Allen, yr dau of Mr & Mrs Richard Allen,of Great Shefford,
Berks.
Capt Abdy Collins is a grandson of Lt-Col Bryan Leslie Lynch Abdy
Collins, OBE, MC, by his wife the former Helen Alice Douglas, scion of
the Earls of Morton.
