She was d of Col [James] Murray GRANT DSO OBE 1899-1974 and Jessie Hamilton MARTIN 1900-90. She m 1955 Guy Urwick RNVR 1917-2006 s of William Urwick GOODBODY 1883-1949 scion of that Irish gentry family and Mary Elizabeth Young JACK 1891-1956, and had four daus:

John Stephen DENHOLM, CBE, of that family of shipowners, is the elder son of Sir John Ferguson (known as "Ian") DENHOLM (8 V 1927 - 15 V 2018) and his wife (married 1952), Elizabeth Murray STEPHEN (1930 - 23 VIII 2015), daughter of the shipbuilder Sir Alexander Murray STEPHEN, MC (11 IX 1892 - 17 XII 1974) and his wife (married 1922), Katherine Paton MITCHELL (14 III 1899 - 18 I 1978).

It would appear that Mr Denholm and his wife have two daughters.

I was lucky enough to have Mark Coreth as my head of house at school.   He had a distinguished army career and now has an international reputation as a sculptor of animals in bronze.  If there is a nicer person in the world, I'd like to meet them.
