Our own Eleanor Doughty had an article in the Daily Telegraph 9 Nov 2024 about Chavenage (Poldark and now Rivals) and the Lowsley-Williams family (BLG 1972).  James Lowsley-Williams is due to marry Emma Frampton "this winter". In fact weddingshop.com indicates they are to marry 21 Dec 2024. Thx to Eleanor for another interesting article.

I Inherited the 'Rivals' Cotswold Manor House!!

My name is James Lowsley-Williams, I have been in the cycling industry for over 15 years, riding as a professional cyclist as well as working for the Global Cycling Network on Youtube for the last 6 years. Last year my Grandfather who had been Lord of Manor for over 60 years passed away meaning the estate and Manor was passed down to me. Chavenage has been in the Lowsley-Williams family for generations, having only been owned by one other family since the 16 century. The buck has now been passed to my fiancé Emma and I. We want to take you on this incredible journey with us, as we do whatever it takes to sustain this incredible estate for future generations to come. You can expect lots of highs and also lows, its going to be one wild ride and your not going to want to miss it.
