James Hughston McBain of McBain, 22nd Chief of Clan McBean, has died in Tucson, Arizona on 7 March 2022.

Announcement from Clan McBean:

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our 22nd Chief, James McBain of McBain, who died peacefully yesterday afternoon (7 March) in Tucson, Arizona, USA, in his 94th year. He had led the Clan MacBean with great dedication and distinction for 45 years since the death in 1977 of his father Hughston McBain of McBain, 21st Chief.

We offer our deep and sincere condolences to his son Richard, and his daughters Christina and Jacquelyn, and all of their extended family, who we hold in our thoughts and prayers. May James rest in peace, after so many years of great and loyal service as Clan Chief.
