From the Telegraph of 22 Dec 2022: MARSDEN Rear Admiral Peter Nicholas, Royal Navy. Beloved husband of Elizabeth, father of James, Jonathan and Jo, and grandfather of Tom, Henry, Ned, Millie, Freddy and Peter, died peacefully on 15th December 2022 aged 90, from complications arising from Parkinson’s disease. Private cremation. A service of thanksgiving will be announced later.
He was s of James Pickford MARSDEN 1900-77 by his 1930 m reg Q4 London to Evelyn 1902-70 d of Frank Kay HOLMAN 1863-45 and Mildred WHARTON 1878-1949. He m 1956 Jean Elizabeth MATHER, and had two sons and a dau as above. His dau Jo(anna) Mary m 1988 (div 20__) Michael Anthony s of Anthony Philip HARRIS of Petworth, Sussex and Susan Catherine b 1932 d of Sir John Beresford BADDELEY 3rd Bt 1899-1979, and had two sons and two daus.
