Interview below with Jonathan Aitken, former MP. He mentions officiating the funeral for his brother-in-law, Lord Ogmore. Therefore he must have died at some point in April or May.

With thanks to Mr Harper, if one scrolls down from that article, one comes to another, with news of the birth of a son and heir to the 8th Earl of Lucan.

Did anyone find  the date of Lord Ogmore's death?  I've looked out for a probate reference but nothing has come up so far.

I have searched high & low every so often, but no luck.

I have checked the Probate Indices as you have. I also checked the Old Millhillians obituaries, but these seem to stop in 2018 on their website. I am relatively confident he was still resident in London at the time of his death - the address in Debrett's 2003 (SW6) is the same as the address Beata, Lady Ogmore (his widow) is registered at on Companies House.

We may have to wait until 2021 for the GRO indices update, but that won't give us a date.
