From the Times of 18 May 2024: BARKER Dennis Norman on 30th April 2024, aged 91, died peacefully on the 30th April at Baycroft care home in Flitwick. Dearly beloved husband of the late Jennifer Eileen (née Axtell). Devoted father to the late Nigel, Simon, Jeremy and Elizabeth, and proud grandfather and great-grandfather…

He was s of Eric Wood BARKER 1900-64 by his 1927 m to Ellen MOSS 1894-[1969]. He m c1958 reg Q1 Barnet Jennifer Eileen 1934-2017 d of Cyril A AXTELL by his 1935 m reg Q3 Northumberland to Lily REDPATH 1899-1993. Their dau Elizabeth Jane b c1966 reg Q1 Beds (Lady Kemsley) m 1994 as his second w the 3^rd Viscount KEMSLEY b 1951, and had two sons, the eldest of whom is ha to his father.
