From the London Gazette 22 December 2011:

The QUEEN has been pleased to approve the appointment of Mrs. Sarah
Rose Troughton to be Lord-Lieutenant of and in the County of
Wiltshire, on and from 6 February 2012.

Sarah Rose (b 1953, Mrs Peter Troughton) is the dau of Lady Mary
Cecilia nee BOWES-LYON (b 1932) and Sir Timothy James Alan COLMAN KG.

Mrs Troughton is The Queen's 1st cousin once removed. She was Lady-in-
Waiting to the Duchess of Kent 1990-2000 and has been a DL of
Wiltshire since 2006.

Her husband is a scion of the FOWLER Bts (extinct 1933) and their dau
is m to a scion of the BARCLAY Bts.

Mrs Troughton has been appointed a Dame of the Order of St John

ORDER OF ST JOHN FOR THE FAITH AND IN THE SERVICE OF HUMANITY

The QUEEN has graciously pleased to sanction the following Promotions in, and Appointments to, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem with effect from 22 April 2021 the date of Her Majesty’s sign-manual.
