He m 2011 Laura Lucy b 1983 reg Q4 Winchester d of Barnabas J HURST-BANNISTER b 1952 reg Q4 Somerset of East Worlington, Devon and Elizabeth L B b 1955 reg Q1 Lambeth d of Dr Richard H G PERKS of The Old Parsonage, Sutton Valence, Kent, and Bridget Kathleen ATTLEE 1921-2006. Dr Richard Henry George PERKS (1924 - 3 XII 2018) was the elder son of Walter Richard PERKS, OBE (14 VI 1887 - 9 I 1982), Chief Inspector in the Immigration Branch of the Home Office, and his wife (married 1916), Elizabeth Ann CARRUTHERS (6 IV 1888 - 30 V 1973).

 

Dr Perks' wife, Bridget Kathleen ATTLEE (1921 - 19 II 2006), was a first cousin once removed downwards of Clement Richard ATTLEE, 1st Earl Attlee, KG, OM (3 I 1883 - 8 X 1967), Prime Minister 1945-51, MP (Labour) for Limehouse, 1922-50, and for West Walthamstow, 1950-55, Leader of the Labour Party, 1935-55.
