From the Daily Telegraph 20 March 2023 - MARCKUS  Melvyn, former City Editor of The Times and The Observer newspapers, died peacefully on 7th March with his family around him. A memorial service will be held later in the year. Private cremation.

He m 1987 (as her 3rd h) Hon Rachel Mary Frances BONDONNEAU formerly GIBSON nee KING d of the life peer Lord King of Wartnaby (John Leonard King) (1917-2005)
