Baker - The engagement is announced between Walter, youngest son of the late Major James Arbuthnott and of the Hon Mrs Arbuthnott,  of Stone, Worcestershire, and Anastasia, younger daughter of Major Grant Baker, of Chittoe, Wiltshire, and Mrs Tessa Baker, of Shalbourne, Wiltshire.

Walter Francis b 1991 of Maj James Francis ARBUTHNOTT 1940-2018 (2xgt gs of 8th Viscount of ARBUTHNOTT 1778-1860) and Hon Louisa Nina HUGHES-YOUNG b 1949 d of 1st Baron ST HELENS MC 1912-80 and Elizabeth Agnes BLAKISTON-HOUSTON 1911-56 (2xgt gd of Sir Matthew BLAKISTON 2nd Bt 1761-1806) and scion of the KIDSTON gentry family of Redenham Park.

Anastasia Marcelle M. b 1993 reg Q3 London d of Maj Grant V A BAKER by his 1984 m reg Q1 London to Tessa b 1960 adopted dau of Maj Richard (Dickie) Francis BIRCH REYNARDSON 1926-2003 scion of that gentry family of Ardwell House and Mary BULTEEL 1928-2015 scion of that gentry family of Leighton.
