From the Telegraph of 27 Aug 2024: BEALE Richard Basil William died peacefully after a short illness on 10th August in Perth, Western Australia at the age of 79. Much loved husband of the late Siao-Li, father of Jenny and Alice, and grandfather of Lily, Euan, Hazel, Eloise and Celia. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was s of Col Basil Perry BEALE OBE MC 1895-1967 and Alice d of Hon George Ellis VESTEY 1884-1968, (s of 1st Baron VESTEY 1859-1940) and Florence May d 1964 d of Thomas WEBSTER of Melling, Lancs. He m 1981 Siao-Li LIAO, and had two daus as above.
