He was born 11 September, 1926, son of Sir Philip Larcom, 4th Baronet,
by his wife, the former Ailen Monica Royde (nee Colebck), and was
educated at Radley and Clare College, Cambridge (BA 1947, MA 1951).
Career: served as a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy, 1947-50; Articled to
Messers Spicer & Pegler, Chartered Acountants, 1950-53; Fellow of
Chartered Accountants, 1965; joined Grieveson Grant adn Co., 1955,
partner 1960; Member, The Stock Exchange, London, 1959; Member of the
Council of the Stock Exchange, 1970-80; &c.
He succeeded to the baronetcy (created in 1868) on the death of his
father, 1967.
Sir Christopher married in 1956, Barbara Elizabeth, daughter of Balfour
Bowen, by whom he had four daughters, Mary, Jane, Julia and Anna.
The baronetcy now becomes extinct.
Funeral Service at Kelvedon St Mary Virgin & Feering All Saints Church,
Church Street, Kelvedon, Essex CO5 on Thursday, 30th December 2004 at
10 a.m. followed by interment in the Churchyard.
